Front of House refers to the essential and dynamic task of serving as the “face” of Menla, i.e. being the primary interface between our many diverse guests and the Menla staff. Since customer service is the most important aspect of this position, it is crucial that the Front of House staff be able to successfully and dependably multi-task all day long as well as be consistently professional, helpful, positive, flexible, friendly and customer focused. While office and computer skills comprise the core skill set of this job, we all wear many hats and need to be able to jump in where needed and help.
— Check-in/check-out preparation
— Check-in/check-out guests at beginning and end of all retreats
— Counter sales
— Guest registration support for retreats and getaways
— Generally hospitality and guest services
— Answering phone calls and emails from general public
— Meeting space tea/coffee/water refreshes
— Ideal candidate has an excellent eye for detail, is computer literate and comfortable learning new software
— Occasional gift shop, dining room, and light housekeeping support may be needed
— Valid Driver’s License
— Reliable transportation required for non-residential positions
Compensation: Starting at $13/hr, share of guest tips, free vegetarian shift meal, also very affordable on-site housing for the right candidate.

Part Time Positions: 16-32 hrs/wk
Full Time Positions: 32-40 hrs/wk
Currently, we are looking for Full-Time Residential or Non-Residential FOH/Receptionist to start in April 2021 and work through at least November. Position has the potential to then become year-round for the right candidate.
