With its unique septagonal architecture and enormous bay windows facing the southern mountain ridge, our Tara Sanctuary is a beloved space for one-on-one and small group movement and meditation classes, healing therapies, and sound baths.
At approximately 615 square feet (diameter of 28′), the Sanctuary has a 35 person capacity. Constructed specifically for contemplative workshops and meditation, this space does not have running water but has a single occupancy bathroom with a Swedish toilet.
“Loved Menla and all the experiences they offer… I attended morning yoga with different instructors who were excellent and fully over indulged with the veggie buffet with gluten-free and vegan options. Many fresh greens from the organic on-site garden. Delicious!”

“The food was fantastic, the pool was very relaxing, and the setting was spectacular! I suggest hiking the Metta Loop Trail when you are there. On the Menla property you will see lots of wildlife, such as deer, possums, and small bears that are harmless and used to our presence.”

“Menla means Medicine Buddha in Tibetan, but I think the esoteric translation must be ‘magic’. Menla is a place unto itself.”
