Constructed in 2019, our Pacific Yurt offers an intimate circular meeting space for one-on-one and small group movement and meditation classes, spa therapies, and sound baths.
With windows looking out into the forest, the Yurt is situated on the knoll above the enchanting Pantherkill stream and provides privacy and a sense of immersion in nature.
At approximately 706 square feet (diameter of 30′), the Yurt has a 35 person capacity. The Yurt features air conditioning for hot summer days and heating, including radiant floor, for colder times. Constructed specifically for contemplative workshops and meditation, this space does not have running water or bathrooms.
“I have many words but I will use this: streams. This whole valley is full of incredible streams. I came as a part of YTTP retreat this past weekend and loved how the valley of Menla just belonged to each and everyone one of us, together and alone at the same time, I stayed at Dragon house and loved how at home you are made feel though no one really is there guiding you, you are your own guide. I will remember this stay for a long time, the 2 days will last a life time. I hope to return one day. Thank you!”

“It’s nature healing, every staff member super kind and making you feel right at home, the food was heavenly good! I’m deeply impressed and recommend anyone to pay a visit when in search of a peace of mind, to recharge and for those who wants to deeply (re)connect with their inner nature. The good spirits of the Catskill mountains are definitely highly active and working their magic on everyone who comes and goes. Went home deeply inspired, recharged and full of love.”

“Deep in the Catskill Mountains exists a very special place—the Dewa Spa at Menla. On a snowy, late winter afternoon there is nothing better than a long deep soak in one of their tubs infused with the 5 Nectars bath blend. The tranquil sounds of this hidden valley can be heard through a cracked window—the Pantherkill Stream and the sweet symphony of our bird friends chattering about the upcoming spring. This is the perfect place to leave the world behind for as long as possible!”
