“A person does not hear sound only through the ears; he hears sound through every pore of the body. It permeates the entire being, and according to its particular influence, either slows or quickens the rhythm of the blood circulation; it either awakens or soothes the nervous system”― Hazrat Inayat Khan
Are you ready to go Deep again? We invite you to the 2nd Deep Space Retreat; an immersive exploration of sound, yoga, and meditation - set in the magic of 365 acres of pristine mountain forests. Join us for four days of rejuvenation, expansion, bliss, and practice including: yogic sound meditations, vinyasa and restorative yoga, and Deep Space sound baths. Sound is coupled with yoga and meditation to deepen the experience and raise auric vibrations to new heights.
The warm weather will allow us to take advantage of the outdoors. Forest bathing by the stream coupled with sounds of the Gong and Didgeridoo. Providing a fun, nurturing environment to restore and renew our physical, mental, and emotional bodies, we’ll release tension in our nervous system, cultivate loving Hygge, and find peaceful spaciousness.
While our daily schedule includes yoga, meditation, and sound baths, there will also be time to explore all that Menla has to offer including hiking, the world class spa, crystalline cold plunge, and bursting gardens. Surrounded by the beauty and majesty of the Catskill mountains, this is a precious opportunity to explore our Deep Space internally and with one another.
This is a retreat for all levels of experience.
Although the retreat will start Thursday evening, participants are welcome to arrive on Friday. If you are not available to make it Thursday but would like to join us for the weekend please call the Menla Front Desk for a custom registration at 845 688 6897 Ext 101 or email [email protected]

“About a three-hour bus ride from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Menla. As the landscape changes from cityscape to mountains, and as you witness your cell phone signal strength dwindle to “no service,” you quite literally unplug yourself from the mundane hustle and bustle of everyday life back to simplicity of nature.”
