Held by the Earth is a deep dive into the wisdom of practicing yoga in nature, looking into the night sky, communing with the elements and chanting to the moon. This retreat will be an exploration of the practice of nature as our primary and most sacred teacher.Inspired by the teachings of the sage Dattatreya and Earth Wisdom traditions, we will practice yoga nidra, rest, and self-inquiry in the abundant forest that surrounds Menla. You will be guided into earth wisdom rituals with the elements, and go on a journey to meet your nature ally with special guest teacher Crystal Marie Higgins. We will honor the Summer Solstice, and the wisdom of transitional space as the longest day of the year approaches.Each day's practice will include yoga nidra, sacred rest, chanting, and nature practices to honor the elements and phases of the moon.
