INNER SANCTUARY

January 14 - January 16, 2022

Alison Sinatra

Jennifer Muir-Braunstein

The season is upon us when the days are shorter and finding the light within is even more important.
This weekend retreat is specifically curated to meet you in that internal space. Nature is the ultimate teacher and we will be delving into themes that reflect the dying process (Autumn/Winter) and that lead us to plant seeds for something beautiful (Spring/Summer). The gateway of death is imminent for all of us in a body. We strongly believe that honoring and engaging in conversation and practices that familiarize us with this Sacred passage will help invigorate our living.
The retreat will have prayer, sharing, restorative yoga, writing, sound healing, and breathwork. Breathwork uses a powerful, open-mouth breath to help clear the channels and move us into a non-ordinary state of being. It is an incredible way to open energetic channels and fortify one's being.
Menla is surrounded by the Catskill mountains and the atmosphere alone is a sanctuary and holy balm for our collective confusion. There is undeniable energy afoot when women come together. Breakthroughs and transformations occur; individuals find center; the collective gets lifted; and the effects of our efforts spill out into our everyday lives, benefiting our partners, friends, families, and communities.
