The Tibetan medical and spiritual traditions contain profound teachings on how to rejuvenate the body, energy, and mind for the purpose of preventing illness, extending lifespan, and transforming one’s subtle energy channels to in order to deeply transform one’s mind.In this experiential class we will study the basic theory behind Tibetan anti-aging practices and learn simple methods from both the medical and tantric Buddhist perspectives for cultivating physical, mental and spiritual health and well-being. We will explore these practices via the avenue of the “three doors”:Body: Tibetan healing yogic exercises; Basic diet and lifestyle advice according to your constitutional typologySpeech/Energy: Breath-work; Long life mantra accumulations to empower herbal substancesMind: Meditations to balance the five elements
