Join us as we lead a weekend dedicated to nurturing the emotional self and finding greater peace within. On this retreat, we will take time for practices such as yoga, Somatic Experiencing® healing techniques and meditation as we journey inward to exploration, self-discovery, and self-awareness.  You will gain experience of practices to self-regulate your nervous system through embodied movement and a blend of yoga, meditation, and somatic movement. Join us to explore what it feels like to open more fully to living as our whole self!This experience is an opportunity to enjoy a practice intended to regulate your nervous system by cultivating basic orienting and grounding techniques. Together, we will explore through practice and demonstration the importance of the body and mind in wellness.We will teach and explore embodied practices using direct experience such as: somatic movement, touch work, and the conscious awareness of your nervous system to connect and learn self-regulating techniques.While our daily schedule includes yoga, meditation, and somatic practices, there will also be time to explore all that Menla has to offer, including hiking, the world-class spa, and stunning amenities.  Surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Catskill mountains, this is a precious opportunity to explore the space within as well as with one another. This is a retreat for all levels of experience.

Friday, March 8
  • 7 - 8 Morning Meditation and Yoga
  • 8 - 9 am Breakfast
  • 9:30 am - 12 pm Movement with Somatic Experiencing Healing Techniques
  • 12:30 - 1:30 pm Lunch
  • 2 - 5:30 Embodiment Process Group, 30 minute break and Somatic Experiencing Healing Techniques until 5:30pm
  • 6 - 7 pm Dinner
  • 7:30 - 9 pm Yin Yoga
Saturday, March 9
  • 7 - 8 am Morning Meditation and Yoga
  • 8 - 9 am Breakfast
  • 9:30 am - 12 pm Somatic Experiencing Healing Techniques
  • 12:30 - 1:30 pm Lunch
  • 2 - 5:30 Special Chakra Meditation
  • 6 - 7 pm Dinner
  • 7:30 - 9 pm Restorative Yoga

  • 7 - 11 am Check-out of Rooms
