Tummo and Tibetan Yoga: Profound Pathways to Inner Healing

March 01 - March 04, 2024

Dr. James Bae DACM, E-RYT, C-IAYT

In this four-day intensive, James Bae will introduce the foundations of Tummo and Tibetan Yoga as a path of healing and transformation.Tummo, or Inner Heat yoga, is the basis of the inner tantric yogas. It is regarded as the pillar of the Completion phase and will be taught according to the Yuthok Nyingthik, or Heart Essence of the Tibetan medical and spiritual tradition. In this retreat, you will learn how these methods of Tummo and Tibetan Yoga can promote physical, emotional, psychological balance and spiritual wellbeing. Through skillful practice, our own body can become a source of refuge and a “wish-fulfilling tree.”We will explore how somatic, subtle body practices can bring about greater wisdom and compassion. Instruction on the healing applications of these inner yogas will be shared in light of current neuroscience, psychotherapeutic and embodiment disciplines.(This is an advanced level retreat, and prior experience with Vajrayana Buddhist practice is suggested/required*)
