If you choose an appointment with me at Dewa Spa, we will investigate together how to implement the wisdom of Buddhist psychology into your life. “Waking up” as the Buddha invited us to do allows us to quickly, in one or two appointments, investigate which road to take, or how to understand a problem from a more integrated and often healing position. Shifting our viewpoint to a more realistic one allows us to reorder priorities and integrate wisdom in our decision making if we find ourselves at a crossroad.
In contrast to traditional psychotherapy, where we often examine what went wrong and who was to blame, we will explore the opportunities of your precious human life and how to align moral priorities with future goals and passions.
This process may take 1-2 appointments. You can submit any invoices for out-of-network reimbursement through your health insurance.
“Loved Menla and all the experiences they offer… I attended morning yoga with different instructors who were excellent and fully over indulged with the veggie buffet with gluten-free and vegan options. Many fresh greens from the organic on-site garden. Delicious!”

“Menla is an amazing place to spend time. Delicious healthy food, comfortable bed, beautiful scenery, nature. Of course, some of my favorite teachers were there too… Krishna Das, Sharon Salzberg and climbing to the top Bob Thurman. Thanks to the staff who made it possible to enjoy such an inspiring place on this planet.”
Michael Stoker
“Menla is so breathtakingly gorgeous, situated on an indigenous sacred land where its magnetic field is very strong… I have so many beautiful photos of the campus from my hikes at dawn on the property, mostly photos capturing the sunrise and the light rays shimmering iridescently on various aspects of nature. I took almost a thousand photos in my short stay there! Truly breathtaking! Even capturing the miracle of having a doe and her fawns surrounding me just several feet away from me!”
