Aimee Elsner MS, OTR/L 500 hr. ERYT
Owner of CT Power Yoga and Balanced Beeing Occupational Therapy
Mother, Wife, Occupational Therapist, life skills coach, Yoga and Meditation teacher,
Aimee began her career as an Occupational Therapist in 1996 after graduating from Boston University with a Masters of Science. Aimee has worked with children with a variety of disabilities, for over 20 plus years as well as the adult outpatient and inpatient population.
After the diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer in 2009 Aimee began to examine her own diet and lifestyle. She quickly began to use yoga, meditation and self-inquiry as a way to get reconnected with her body and find her breath. Using her knowledge as an occupational therapist with yoga and meditation, Aimee discovered a world of possibilities for herself and her clients.
“Menla is an oasis of tranquility amidst vast natural forest preserves… The area holds a very special aura and energy which you can’t help but be affected by…”
CJ Dellatore, Relevant Design
“About a three-hour bus ride from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Menla. As the landscape changes from cityscape to mountains, and as you witness your cell phone signal strength dwindle to “no service,” you quite literally unplug yourself from the mundane hustle and bustle of everyday life back to simplicity of nature.”
Nina D.
“Of all the places I have traveled for retreats, Menla is the BEST!”
