Ambika has been a singer and musician for most of her life, playing in various bands in NYC until she discovered chanting with Krishna Das in 1995. Kirtan had a profound effect on her, and lead her to India where she met her teacher and Spiritual Mother, Shri Siddhi Ma. As Ambika deepened her connection to the practice of chanting, it became her home and refuge. Recently she has been exploring chants from other faith traditions, working with a program at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine. In February 2015, Ambika released a digital single "Metta Chant", produced and recorded by Devadas Labrecque. Her first full-length album, "Mother's Calling", produced by Lily Cushman, is now available everywhere to purchase or stream. Learn more on her website.
“To stay in the same place as His Holiness is a blessing and privilege. It is as if I could feel his love and tranquility vibrating all throughout.”
“I honestly can’t say enough good things about this space, the land, the facilities, the staff, the stewards, their events. I will never forget this place and hope to come back. Forever grateful for such beautiful blessings!”
“EVERYONE I met with was spectacular in service and friendliness. Twan actually waited for me to get down the mountain one evening when his shift was done to ensure my safety. I never experienced this type of commitment and kindness at Omega or Kripalu. I both teach and do a lot of continuing education, and you guys take the cake!”
