Growing up as an athlete, Erica always felt a strong connection to physical movement. It wasn’t until her early-twenties that she desired a stronger connection to her emotional self and a deeper sense of fulfillment within that movement. For the past seventeen years, she has been a devoted yoga student practicing and studying all over the world which led her to completing her certification, and diving headfirst into her purpose. Erica guides public classes and a private clientele in Manhattan and New Jersey as well as hosts wellness retreats both domestically and internationally. She has also taken her passions for fostering community and mindful movement, and created a Yoga Alliance certified 200-Hour Teacher Training curriculum where she’s led and graduated five classes of trainees.
Erica’s classes, workshops, getaways and trainings are strongly influenced by the emotional and spiritual aspects of the practice, but will also strengthen you both physically and mentally. The intention behind all of her offerings is to hold space for her students while they step further into their power, truth, confidence and emotional intelligence. Yoga has deeply shifted, healed and transformed Erica’s life, and she is eternally grateful to be able to share that magic with every yogi that she is blessed to cross paths with.

I suggest hiking the Metta Loop Trail when you are there. On the Menla property you will see lots of wildlife, such as deer, possums, and small bears that are harmless and used to our presence.”

“You know that thing when you think you soul might be finally crushed for good and the nameless, wordless, friendless dread of the city has sucked you dry? Well, this place has the cure. You can help with the grounds and garden, you can yoga and meditate, you can get the best massage in 48 states, you can eat the most delicious vegetarian cuisine, and my favorite, walk the trails and paths through bubbling brooks and over rushing waterfalls and regain your spirit and feel the beat of your heart in time to nature.”

“Having never gone to a spa or retreat, I heard this is the place to go. The mountains, the hiking trails, the wildlife, and the vastness of the place set up the parameters for a happy and interesting week. Every staff person I encountered could not have been more welcoming. One new employee said all the supervisors treat each other and other employees as well as they treat their guests. Vegetarian food is fresh and excellent. Wait ’till you see the modern yet traditional spa! The main house and guest rooms are lovely. I came to learn yoga from outstanding teachers and to relax and get some care taking. Mission accomplished.”
