Jane Apostol
Alexander Technique
Jane’s movement journey hearkens back to a foundation of dance from a very young age, from classical ballet, to modern and hip-hop, to more international studies of Japanese Butoh, Suzuki actors’ training, yoga and anatomy.
Suffering from scoliosis and severe back pain since childhood, Jane sought out healing solutions, graduating from the Swedish Institute of Massage in New York City in 1996, and working as a licensed massage therapist for several decades. Additionally, she deepened her education in other trainings of Zero Balancing, cancer massage, pre & peri-natal massage, structural integration (Rolfing), movement based expressive arts therapy, Reiki, anatomy dissections, and Alexander Technique (Alexander Technique Teacher Training, Denver, Colorado, and Alexander Smart Yoga Teacher Training.)
Stemming from her own achievement of relief from pain, Jane believes each person has a unique journey to explore in their own body, learning how one’s body works. She creates an integrated form of psychophysical education for each individual client, addressing a wide variety of needs in a diverse population.
