CEO Curating Simplicity.
Joanna is an entrepreneur committed to effecting positive social change in the world. Her mantra: The Power of Purpose, The Will of Women and The Gift of Giving captures her values both personally and professionally.
Curating Simplicity, her most recent venture, is addressing the stress epidemic that women are facing today. Curating Simplicity provides a unique environment for women to connect, learn, heal and collaborate. It’s a community that guides and supports members on their journey to reduce stress; recharge body, mind and spirit; embrace simplicity and enjoy serenity.
Joanna understands what burnout from stress feels like. In 2016 unable to walk more than three New York City blocks and crashing from exhaustion throughout the day, she was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue directly related to having too much stress in her life. She had no choice other than to listen to her body’s call for help and committed herself to healing.
“Loved Menla and all the experiences they offer… I attended morning yoga with different instructors who were excellent and fully over indulged with the veggie buffet with gluten-free and vegan options. Many fresh greens from the organic on-site garden. Delicious!”
“Always a great stay at Menla. Staff very helpful. Programs excellent. I greatly enjoyed seeing Robert Thurman, Sharon Salzberg and Krishna Das together. A truly auspicious place. Visit and find out for yourself.”
“Of all the places I have traveled for retreats, Menla is the BEST!
