Laura Carrotti is a seeker of meaning. She's spent the last two decades studying with masters and fools all throughout India, Thailand, and South America.
The core of Laura’s teaching, and her mission, is to bring people back into their totality, and to help them re-evaluate the relationship they have with their sexuality and life force. Her work blends traditional Tantra, self-inquiry, dynamic forms of meditation, breath, Yoga, and good old honesty. Her specialty is in unraveling the war we are all in with ourselves.
Laura has been leading Tantra groups in Europe, Asia, South America and the U.S. since 2009 and teaching Yoga philosophy and practice since 2003. She is an ardent practitioner of traditional Tantra in the Sri Vidya and Shivoham lineages and is a trauma informed, Somatic Experiencing practitioner.
She swears an awful lot, but she’s great fun.“The food was fantastic, the pool was very relaxing, and the setting was spectacular! I suggest hiking the Metta Loop Trail when you are there. On the Menla property you will see lots of wildlife, such as deer, possums, and small bears that are harmless and used to our presence.”

“Menla is indeed magical, a place out of time that is rich in presence. The vibrational quality of this sanctuary is palpable as well as the magnificent natural beauty. Healing, peaceful and luminous with Light, a pilgrimage to Menla evokes the proverbial Medicine Mountain, and yet it is so close to NYC. Our Ayurvedic massage and experience at Dewa Spa was transporting, regenerative and deeply nourishing. Looking forward to our next retreat here and sharing this treasure with friends.”

“It’s nature healing, every staff member super kind and making you feel right at home, the food was heavenly good! I’m deeply impressed and recommend anyone to pay a visit when in search of a peace of mind, to recharge and for those who wants to deeply (re)connect with their inner nature. The good spirits of the Catskill mountains are definitely highly active and working their magic on everyone who comes and goes. Went home deeply inspired, recharged and full of love.”
