Lisa Bermudez has been teaching yoga since 2009 and is excited to work with bodies of all types and practitioners of all levels. She believes the yoga practice is a doorway and a pathway and is excited to work with new yogis, see progression in advanced practitioners, and to see you make time to show up for yourself.
In New York City, Lisa completed hover 500+ hours of trainings and immersions in Vinyasa Yoga, Ayurveda, Iyengar Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Anatomy, Kids Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. She's traveled to India to study with her teachers on the path of Bhakti Yoga and is always inspired to continuously deepen her practice, teaching, and explore ways to operate from a place of Love and Giving Back.
Lisa has been a lululemon Brand Ambassador for lululemon's Meatpacking District's location in NYC, she's taught various events for Women's Health Magazine, Self Magazine, Time Out New York, NYC DOT's Summer Streets, Best Friends Animal Society, and continues to work and volunteer with local communities. Lisa has been a volunteer retreat leader with Souljourn Yoga in Peru, Morocco, Cambodia, Nicaragua, and also helped develop the first Souljourn Yoga's On The Ground training for woman in Rwanda.
