Malati is the founder of Gopi Yoga Center in New Jersey and a longtime teacher, guide, and spiritual friend to many. She has been teaching yoga for the past 30 years. For over 15 years, she has led transformational retreats both locally and internationally — from the sacred banks of the Ganges in India to the red rocks of Sedona, the mountains of South Africa, and the quiet beauty of the Catskills.Deeply rooted in the teachings of Bhakti Yoga and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Malati creates spaces where seekers can reconnect to presence, purpose, and joy. Her retreats are known for their depth, heart, and a quiet power that stays with participants long after the journey ends. As a teacher, Malati brings both reverence and play.
