Lee (Mirabai) Harrington is a vocalist, author, teacher, yogi and healer who has been studying and practicing the wisdom traditions for decades.
A gifted and intuitive healer with a warm, compassionate style, Lee specializes in Tibetan Mantra Healing, NeJang (Tibetan self-healing technique), Tibetan bLa Massage, Pranic Healing (Chakra Balancing), Kirtan, and Guided Meditation. Lee believes that everyone has an innate ability for self-healing and her sessions help to awaken that awareness and capacity within her clients. She is a long-term practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism with her primary teachers being HH the 17th Karmapa, Khenpo Rinpoche, Robert Thurman, and Dr Nida Chenagtsang. She currently serves on the faculty at Tibet House and the Omega Institute–teaching meditation, mantra healing and Nejang–and has taught creative writing at Columbia University and NYU. In the world of kirtan she is known as the “Buddhist Bhakta” and has lead kirtans and workshops at such venues as Kripalu, Yogaville, Sivananda Bahamas, Karma Triyana Dharmachakra monastery and more. She has been part of the Tibet House/Menla mandala since 2005 and is honored to serve their mission to bring more Tibetan healing practices to the West.
